ArtsMemphis
- ArtsMemphis’ main goal is to raise money in order to continue Memphis’ rich tradition of quality fine arts while building a “vibrant cultural community” for all citizens. More than 95% of every dollar raised through the annual campaign is reinvested in the community through arts support.

Children’s Museum of Memphis
- A private, non-profit children’s education museum that seeks to create “memorable learning experiences through the joy of play in hands-on exhibits and programs.” The Museum values hands-on activity that complements classroom learning and produces a positive family experience.

Jabberblabber
- A self-described “earth-friendly arts and activities publication,” this children’s magazine is sold at stores around the Mid-South with the purpose of teaching “love and healing through creative education, serving the whole family, one community at a time.” The magazine contains jokes, games, puzzles and a parents section on relevant local events and news.

Memphis Library
- With more than 15 branches in the Memphis area, there’s sure to be a library somewhere nearby. The main hub is the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library at 3030 Poplar Avenue, which contains over 800,000 pieces of literature.

Pink Palace Family of Museums

A collection of various musuems that includes the Pink Palace Museum, the Crew Training International IMAX Theater, the Sharpe Planetarium, The Lichterman Nature Center (first accredited nature center in the U.S.) and the historic Mallory Neely and Magevney Houses. The museums’ goal is to educate Memphis about the effects of technology, history, science and nature on the Mid-South.
