There are many resources available for newcomers and residents alike to receive services and get information about the various cultures represented in our city. African and African-American Center, LeMoyne –Owen College
CAAAS offers the campus, the community, and the academic world opportunities for increased knowledge about the rich heritage of Africans and African Americans.

Cambodian Cultural Association
The mission of CCAM is to preserve, enrich and evolve the application of cultural knowledge and tradition to benefit the present and future societies of Cambodians living in Memphis.

Greater Memphis United Chinese Association
The Greater Memphis United Chinese Association (GMUCA) is a registered not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to promote Chinese culture and education, and to provide civic, social and cultural programs in Memphis metropolitan area.

Jewish Community Center
The mission of the Memphis Jewish Community Center is to insure Jewish continuity; to support Jewish unity; to enrich Jewish life, and to participate in and promote the well-being of the Jewish and general community and the people of Israel.

Memphis Jewish Federation
The Memphis Jewish Federation serves as the central coordinating, fundraising, strategic planning and budgeting agency for the Memphis Jewish community. In partnership with the Memphis Jewish Community Center, the Memphis Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, Jewish Family Service, Plough Towers, Hillel of Memphis, the synagogues and schools of the Jewish community, a rich fabric of services is available for Jews and non-Jews in our city.

Latino Memphis
Latino Memphis promotes the advancement of the Latino community in Memphis and the mid-South region. This mission is carried out through providing a variety of services to the community, including youth leadership programs, local and statewide advocacy efforts, and maintaining the Latino Memphis Community Center.

Memphis Scottish Society
Memphis Scottish Society seeks to foster education and promote understanding and good fellowship among individuals of Scottish descent and people from other backgrounds who are drawn to the uniquely rich culture and heritage of Scotland.

Mid-South Peace and Justice Center
The Mid-South Peace and Justice Center’s mission is to engage, organize and mobilize communities to realize social justice through nonviolent action.

Office of Multicultural and Religious Affairs
The Office of Multicultural and Religious Affairs (OMRA) works to improve the quality of life for all Memphians by: connecting new citizens to resources and information through community outreach, referral services, advocacy and education.

Immigrant Women’s Services
Immigrant Women’s Services program helps to end the fear, isolation and suffering battered immigrant women face and to increase their knowledge of healthy relationships, the dynamics of domestic violence, services available and victims’ rights.
