Michael Danziger is a proud native of and returnee to the Memphis community. A graduate of White Station High School and The University of Texas at Austin (B.S. Communication '97), he is an affiliate broker and the director of marketing at Malkin Management & Investment Company, Inc. (MMIC, Inc.), a local real estate firm. He is also a professional stand-up comic, performing in clubs and for organizations all over. He has reigned as Comedy, TN's "Funniest Person in Memphis" and currently holds the title of "Funniest Jew in the Deep South." (Seriously! There was a contest.) His original material was published in Penguin Press's "The Complete Idiot's Guide To Jokes." (Again... seriously.) Michael is an active member of Temple Israel, where he is a youth group advisor, music specialist in the Early Learning Center, and member of the "Ruach" musical worship ensemble. He is a board member of the Memphis Jewish Federation, an April 2008 graduate of the Leadership Academy Fellows program, a basketball player and coach, a children's playwright, a Seinfeld and West Wing junkie, and a very bad housekeeper.

State – Northridge, I allowed myself to think, ever so briefly, of how downtrodden our city would be if the Tigers didn’t rally and pull [...]
