I am proud to call myself a native Memphian, especially after I spent some time living and working in Charleston, South Carolina and Berkeley, California. I love these two cities but life in Memphis just has its own juicy, spicy flavor. I currently spend my days (and some nights) as the manager of marketing and communications for ArtsMemphis, a 46-year-old non-profit fundraising organization for the arts in Memphis. We provide support to 27 diverse and thriving arts groups, arts education programming in Memphis City Schools, and administer ticket subsidies so that students and families in our community can experience the arts. ArtsMemphis also presents the annual Bravo Memphis membership program, a full season of arts events for young creatives in Memphis. I encourage you to check out Bravo and get connected to the arts and your peers. I am, obviously, passionate about the arts. I also enjoy any time spent outside, time spent with my English bulldog, trying new venues in Memphis, and traveling when my wallet can handle it.
