Seed Hatchery is pleased to partner with LaunchMemphis on 48 Hour Launch (January 28-30) and provide added support to the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Memphis in the way of follow-on investment to the top startup created over the weekend. As Seed Hatchery begins to filter through applications for its mentorship driven investment program, giving Memphians a chance to launch their innovative startups is the top priority. Since 48 Hour Launch brings together a highly motivated group of technologists and entrepreneurs from Memphis to build new business ventures, Seed Hatchery is honored to participate. The top startup created at 48 Hour Launch, as judged by the Seed Hatchery investment panel, will receive automatic admission and, hence, investment into the Spring 2011 cohort of startups at Seed Hatchery.
Startups selected to join Seed Hatchery will receive $15,000 in seed funding and the opportunity to pitch to angel investors and venture capitalists at the end of the program. They also receive mentoring from committed and experienced local leaders along with connectivity to other talent and resources they need to grow.
