Elmwood Cemetary

Elmwood Cemetary is one of Memphis’ oldest locations that has been around for over 150 years and is on the National Register of Historic Places.  As you enter Elmwood, you are drawn in by the Entry Bridge that leads into the cemetary.

The Elmwood Cemetary gives different types of tours, from audio tours to walking tours.  If you are in a hurry, the audio tour is the way to go.  Drive through in your car and listen as you journey through the past. For longer tours, take a walking tour and get in depth history of those from long ago that now rest here.

This is such an interesting place and so beautiful; I loved all the flowers and trees that surrounded this 80 acres of land.

If you get a chance, go by here and take a tour. It’s a pretty cool place to visit. For more info go to
