Memphis Farmers’ Market

I always love stopping by the farmers market to get tasty fruits and vegetables and other things as well. The Farmers’ Market has so much to offer when it comes to home grown items. They have everything, from all types of produce, plants, and butterflies to meats and exotic teas. There are a few Farmers’ Market locations in Memphis, but the one I most frequent is the one at the Botanic Gardens.

The market has something for everyone. I always love stopping by the cactus table and seeing the many shapes and sizes of them.

When I stopped by yesterday I noticed a stand where a lady was selling caterpillars and butterflies. It was so neat to see this. I was so amazed that I bought two to watch the process of a caterpillar to a butterfly.

Wherever you are located, I bet your not too far from a Farmers’ Market. Admission is free for all locations. Here are some locations you can visit-
Botanic Gardens: Wednesday from 2pm-6pm
Central Station, S. Front Street at GE Patterson in the Historic South Main District, Downtown Memphis: Mid-April thru October, 7am-1pm
Shelby Farms: Saturdays from 7am-1pm
