There’s an exciting event taking place this weekend at Shelby Farms Park. The second annual Buffalo Party and Buffalo Naming competition are being held this Saturday from noon until 2pm. This is a great time to learn about the famous Shelby Farms Buffalo herd from the Rangers, and enjoy free wings from Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s not too late to participate in the Naming contest. The winning names will be announced around 1pm during the party. There will be fun and games for kids too, so bring the whole family. Sno cones will be available to keep everyone cool in the summer heat as well. Should be a great time no matter who you are so come on down to the Kite Flying field across from the buffalo range near the intersection of Walnut Grove and Farm Rd.
