Memphis Zombie Walk 2010

If you missed the 4th annual Zombie Walk last Friday, here it is first hand. Here is the gruesome walk of zombies, so prepare to scared! Zombies lined up all the way around the corner of S.Main and G.E. Patterson and patiently waited for the walk to begin. The walk started there and ended on Beale street, where they then scared the living day lights out of unsuspecting people.

Zombies of all shapes, sizes and diversities came out to walk. I was amazed at the many different zombies I saw.
There were zombie mommy’s’ and zombie daddy’s with their zombie kids…

There were blood drinking zombies and Memphis Tiger fan zombies…

There were zombies dressed in police attire and zombies in prom dresses…
There were overly excited zombies…

And then there were zombies that took it to extremes…

If you didn’t come all dressed out in zombie attire, no worries, there were people near G.E. Patterson helping to zombify the masses. If you put an X on your body with masking tape, this meant you were bound to be devoured by the teeming masses of zombies that were waiting to attack.

The zombies ended on Beale street and from there walked around aimlessly entertaining onlookers that were unaware of what was going on.

There was a great turn out this year and it seemed to be something the whole family could participate in. If you missed it this year, come out next time or these zombies will be coming for you!

See ya next week!

Nice post. I’m pretty grossed out though…I like Beale St. better without the zombies.
