There are as many versions of Memphis as there are Memphians. We have something for everyone… and a soul like no other city’s.
Take a look through MemphisConnect and you’ll understand why the 100+ diverse voices represented are all inspired to call Memphis home.

After a year of dedicated citizen journalism, the MemphisConnect contributors and staff met on May 11th at the newly completed Playhouse on the Square to celebrate the site’s first Anniversary.
Attending the festivities were artists and businesspeople, upstanding citizens, forward thinkers and unfortunately, Memphis’ least wanted psychotherapist, Doctor Harold Toboggans.
Ever vigilant for any sign of charity or artistry, Toboggans interrogated guests with the all the full-throttled tenacity that has made him a legend in his field. (Whatever field that may be.)
See the good doctor in action, patroling the party in the following video:
Will Toboggans ever cease his hopeless task? Will MemphisConnect ever be the same? Will next year’s guests receive gift-size pepper-spray dispensers as a precautionary measure?
For the answers to these and many other question, keep reading MemphisConnect.

MemphisConnect is a partnership between The Leadership Academy, MemphisED and Simple Focus. We provide a gathering place for diverse Memphians to share the opportunities, initiatives and activities that inspire them to make Memphis home.
MemphisConnect is always looking for people who are passionate about Memphis and want to help move our community forward. Get in touch if you have a story for us to share, of if you want to write for us!
