There are as many versions of Memphis as there are Memphians. We have something for everyone… and a soul like no other city’s.
Take a look through MemphisConnect and you’ll understand why the 100+ diverse voices represented are all inspired to call Memphis home.

Memphis’ own Sister Myotis is headed to New York City’s Abingdon Theatre in June. Let’s help her get there! Come to South of Beale on Wednesday, May 5 from 5-7pm for a chance to contribute to the cause – over Ghost River beer – and to chat with Steve Swift (Sister Myotis), Todd Berry (Velma Needlemeyer) and Jenny Odle Madden (Ima Lone). From South of Beale and Voices of the South:

Wednesday, May 5th, Voices of the South will be holding their happy hour at SOB!
From 5-7pm, a $10 donation to Voices of the South =
Ghost River Golden Happy Hour!
Plus, you are supporting Memphis theatre, beer, & dining!
Come drink and donate to a good cause!
And of course, THANK YOU to Voices of the South for thinking of us
as your happy hour location!

MemphisConnect is a partnership between The Leadership Academy, MemphisED and Simple Focus. We provide a gathering place for diverse Memphians to share the opportunities, initiatives and activities that inspire them to make Memphis home.
MemphisConnect is always looking for people who are passionate about Memphis and want to help move our community forward. Get in touch if you have a story for us to share, of if you want to write for us!
