On Thursday, ground was broken on the western segment of the Shelby Farms Greenline. The biking, running, walking, and jogging trail will run from Shelby Farms to Midtown by the time it opens this summer. This is a huge stride for Memphis, and I can’t wait to bike this greenline myself as soon as it opens. A flat surface 6.5 miles long embowered by the stately Southern trees: could there be a better space to exercise?
