There are as many versions of Memphis as there are Memphians. We have something for everyone… and a soul like no other city’s.
Take a look through MemphisConnect and you’ll understand why the 100+ diverse voices represented are all inspired to call Memphis home.

On Thursday, February 18th from 5:30-7:30pm the Grizzlies Foundation will host a Happy Hour gathering at Bosco’s Squared, 2120 Madison, in order to talk and answer questions about why and how people can inspire a young person as a mentor.
This event is open to all adults interested in learning not only about what a mentor is but also about the positive influence a mentor can have by spending just a few hours a month with a young person. RSVPs are requested and can be sent with the subject “2/18 Happy Hour” to mentor@grizzlies.com or calling (901) 205-TEAM.
Most of us cannot say we arrived at our current place in life without those wiser and more experienced than us who lent some advice or encouragement. The Grizzlies Foundation supports many organizations in Memphis who work with youth and each of these future citizens of Memphis could benefit from your time now.
Programs exist for interested adults that can fit any schedule: during the work day, after school or on weekends. There is no commitment for attending this free Happy Hour but RSVPs are requested. Call (901) 205-TEAM (8326) or email mentor@grizzlies.com.
MemphisConnect is a partnership between The Leadership Academy, MemphisED and Simple Focus. We provide a gathering place for diverse Memphians to share the opportunities, initiatives and activities that inspire them to make Memphis home.
MemphisConnect is always looking for people who are passionate about Memphis and want to help move our community forward. Get in touch if you have a story for us to share, of if you want to write for us!
