Dunkin’ Donuts is opening its second location in the Memphis area and first in Germantown with a grand opening event and food drive to benefit the Mid-South Food Bank. Drop off a bag of nonperishable food items (preferably three cans or more) at the new Germantown location you will receive a free medium cup of coffee and donut coupon to be used on the next visit. In addition to collecting food items, the Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee will donate .25 cents per pound of food collected to Mid-South Food Bank up to $750.
Doors open at 5 a.m., Wed., Jan. 20. Based on a first come first serve basis. the first guests who arrive will receive travel mugs and other giveaways. Word is that the mascots of Dunkin Donuts will be there for the kids too. There is a ribbon cutting at noon. Dunkin Donuts will be open from 5a.m. until 10p.m. Seven days a week.
