We’ve just posted a brand-new show over at Chatterbox Audio Theater’s website, www.chatterboxtheater.org. “Snow Globe” is our first-ever attempt at a holiday-themed production; it debuted on WKNO last December. Now you can stream or download its first act, with the second act to follow in a few weeks.
“Snow Globe” features the voices of Jennifer Henry, Allen Busby, Ann Sharp, and Greg Boller, with production by Eric Sefton, music by Katherine Whitfield, and original artwork by Shannon Sellers. The show is a Christmas fable for grown-ups; it follows an estranged daughter as she returns home after receiving what she believes to be a sign from beyond.
Chatterbox was founded in 2007 and has now produced 36 shows, all of which are freely available on our website. It’s theater for your ears, and it’s being created right here in Memphis.
MemphisConnect is a partnership between The Leadership Academy, MemphisED and Simple Focus. We provide a gathering place for diverse Memphians to share the opportunities, initiatives and activities that inspire them to make Memphis home.
MemphisConnect is always looking for people who are passionate about Memphis and want to help move our community forward. Get in touch if you have a story for us to share, of if you want to write for us!
Act Two — the conclusion — of “Snow Globe” is now posted over at http://www.chatterboxtheater.org. Check it out!
