Looking for a holiday outing for your kids? I suggest a trip to the Pink Palace for the Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees.  On Saturday, Santa opened the festival by flying in in style - via helicopter.  The TWIGS of Memphis present this 30-year-old Memphis tradition that benefits Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center.

When visiting the Enchanted Forest, kids will enter a magical world of trees decorated by local groups, a Gingerbread Villiage and the Penguin Pals donated by kids at Memphis-area schools.

In addition to the Festival of Trees, your child can have their picture taken with Santa until December 24.  There are also two “Story Time with Santa” events, December 8 and 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Hours and Tickets:
Saturday, November 21 – Tuesday, December 31, 2009
Monday – Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: noon – 5 p.m.

This is one of our favorites! My kids have already been asking when we can go this year.
