So what are you doing this weekend?
Saturday I’ll be at Bar Camp Memphis. Sunday will likely find me walking Patriot Lake at Shelby Farms.
While at Bar Camp Memphis this past weekend I received movie passes for the premier of “The Blind Side” starring Sandra Bullock. If you are looking for a great “feel good” movie then I highly recommend this one. It is by far the best performance Sandra Bullock has given, in my opinion. Much of the movie was filmed right here in Memphis about a family from here in Memphis. The movie is based on a true story of a family who takes a boy into their home, makes him part of their family, and all the trials and emotions that go with it. This is one of those movies you can watch over and over and over again. I give it a super high five and hope others enjoy it as well. It comes out in theaters this Friday, November 20, 2009. Enjoy.

So glad to read your comments on the movie. We’ve got a whole slew of family coming in town for the entire week of Thanksgiving, so naturally I’ll need lots of “family friendly” options. This movie sounds like one of them – we’ll definitely be at the movies for The Blind Side!
