Cooper Young Festival Music Schedule and Pat’s Picks

Pat Mitchell Worley

September 16, 2009 Pat Mitchell Worley

There’s so much great music at the Cooper Young Festival this weekend. I wanted to make sure you don’t miss a thing. See you this weekend.

Pat’s Picks:

Ryan Peel Band - Soul infused pop rock. He’s sexy, funny and boy can Ryan Peel sang (as my grandmother used to say). Get that booty shaking and I bet you even start dancing with someone you don’t even know.

Streetside Symphony – I love the melodic rock. Singer Jeremy Stanfill is one of my favorite voices around town, hell around the world. If I could hire him just to croon me nightly I would.

River City Tanlines – Alicja trout is my hero and this band rock!

Valencia Robinson – she got soul anbd she will give it to you. Don’t miss her!

Queen of Zion – This trio can stop a room with their harmonies and sweet siren calls.

Darrel Petties and the Strength – We all need a little help and even those of us who don’t worship a superior being will start believing when Petties’ gospel group starts performing.

Susan Marshall – What can I say,. I remember when I first heard Susan belt it out years ago and I was floored. Years later and she can still move me.
