The incomparable Sister Myotis is headed to New York City! Help us all! And help us give her a proper sendoff at Voices of the South‘s new space at First Congo, TheatreSouth. Three weekends only* to be saved before this Memphis original sets her sights on New York City:

The divine deaconess of Ecclesiastical splendor has plenty to testify about these days. The one and only harbinger of holiness is taking the show on the road! You got it. Sister Myotis is headed for New York City for a 22 performance, Off-Off Broadway run at the celebrated Abingdon Theatre in June of 2010. Can I get an AMEN up in here!

Until then, there’s hope for her faithful Memphis flock. Sister Myotis’s Church Retreat is back for a return engagement at Voices of the South’s brand-new space, TheatreSouth for three weekends only. Sister Myotis, Ima Lone, and Velma Needlemeyer will be in attendance once again to host the Women’s Church Retreat in hopes of giving backsliders, whoremongers, and the chronically mediocre a second chance at salvation. So, put on your Godly panties and come see the reigning ringleader of righteousness before she shoves off for the Big Apple.
