There are as many versions of Memphis as there are Memphians. We have something for everyone… and a soul like no other city’s.
Take a look through MemphisConnect and you’ll understand why the 100+ diverse voices represented are all inspired to call Memphis home.

These days, there is never a shortage in ways to have your voice heard throughout the Memphis community.
Help give your favorite places and people in the city the recognition they deserve by taking The Memphis Flyer’s Best of Memphis Reader’s Poll 2009. The poll lasts through August 10th and allows Memphians to choose all of their favorites in Memphis, including the Best Happy Hour, Best Art Gallery, and Best Golf Course.
You can also help in the effort to further develop the city. Vote for Skatelifememphis.org in Nike’s Back Your Block grant contest. The winner will receive a grant of $650,000 which, if won, would be used to build a quality skate park for youth in the North Memphis community.
Also, take a few minutes to fill out the Memphis Regional Design Center’s survey asking you for your ideas about the future of Overton Square. You could very well see your input used in the Square’s future.
Of vital importance to our community’s prosperity is the ongoing discussion about a combined metro government. Read more about this and submit your opinions and suggestions at Reinventgovernment.org.
Finally, you can help support your favorite local farmer’s market by voting in AFT’s America’s Favorite Farmer’s Market Contest or Localharvest.org’s Love Your Farmer’s Market Contest. In doing so you could help your local farmer’s market win up to $5,000.
