On Thursday, August 27 from 6:30 – 9:00 Bravo Memphis will join forces with the businesses of Huling Row to present a party like none other. Admission is free, beer is free, food is free, and fun is a sure thing…as long as you are over 21.
With the street blocked off between Main and Front downtown, everyone will find something they like whether it be the free beer (D Canale), free food (Whole Foods), hula-hoopers (Zoey Provino), fire throwers (Nadia Sophia), live music (Ryan Peel), or the outstanding art in one of the open galleries (ArtFunction by Ed Vining, Hannah Davis Gallery, Joysmith gallery, Jack Robinson Gallery). All of the businesses on Huling will be open including Memphis Downtowner Magazine, Howell Marketing Strategies LLC,and Shannon Lazek Personal Training. Thanks to all of the businesses and galleries for making this possible!
We also could not do this without our sponsors: the Memphis Flyer, D Canale Beverages, Inc.Whole Foods Market, and Mahaffey Tent & Party Rentals. Thanks to the Memphis Music Foundation for helping us find outstanding entertainment and to Audio Enthusiasts for helping us get expert sound equipment and technicians.
We will also be selling Bravo membership at deep discounts for one night only!
Bravo is ArtsMemphis’ membership option for the 21-45 crowd seeking to engage in unique experiences in the arts. Starting in September, Bravo hosts a behind-the-scenes event each month through May to give its members an exclusive look at the Memphis arts community through a performance or exhibit and a chance to meet the people who make the arts possible. Membership to Bravo includes the season events, wine/beer at each event, food, and whatever performance or exhibit is on the bill for the evening.
Really, it is one party you can’t afford to miss. You can find it on Facebook, at www.artsmemphis.org/bravo, on posters around town, and maybe even on an invitation in your mailbox. Spread the word, get your friends together, and don’t miss the free Bravo Kickoff event. And don’t forget to join Bravo for the 09/10 season. We will announce the line up soon and I promise it you will not want to miss it!
