Come experience the fast-paced game of polo!
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, please come out to the Memphis Polo Club for our first event of the season this Saturday at 5:00. Bring the kids, get a group of friends together and bring a picnic- it should be fun!
Here are the details:
The Phoenix Club and the Memphis Polo Club invite you to support the Boys and Girls Clubs while enjoying a fun-filled afternoon of polo, free pony rides for the kids, and beautiful scenery.
Come out to the 200-acre Memphis Polo Club farm in picturesque Rossville, Tenn., this Saturday, June 20. The Memphis Polo match begins at 5 p.m., but the Phoenix Club tailgate party and afternoon picnic gets started earlier that afternoon. Tickets to this event are $25, with most proceeds going directly to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis. Kids under 10 get in free!
WHAT: The Phoenix Club Polo Picnic and Tailgate Party
WHERE: Memphis Polo Club, 2650 Stinson Road, Rossville, Tenn. Directions: Take 385 East (Bill Morris Parkway) to the last exit, Piperton, TN-57. Turn right off of the exit ramp and continue east for six miles. Turn right onto Frazier Road. At the two-way stop, 1.25 miles down, turn left onto Stinson Road. The entrance to the club is a few hundred feet on the right. It should take you 40-50 minutes from anywhere in Memphis.
WHEN: Saturday, June 20. Gates open at 4 p.m. Polo match begins at 5 p.m.
WHO’S Invited: Everyone! Especially: kids, horse lovers, and fun-loving folks who support the Boys and Girls Clubs.
ETC.: At halftime, kids will love the free pony rides and children’s events. Also, come ready to compete in the “Pretty Woman” Contest, awarding ladies who don the most festive hats.
