June 11, 2009 MemphisConnect
From St. Jude:
Families are invited to spend this Saturday, June 13, at the St. Jude Dream Home house in Collierville (723 Briston Lane). The first 100 kids who attend will receive grab bags with Memphis Zoo and Pink Palace passes, St. Jude T-shirts, coloring books and stickers. Additionally, there will be free ice cream, clowns and face painters.
Kids can get their photo taken with Dora, Diego and Boots from Dora the Explorer, as well as see one of the City of Collierville’s fire trucks. The Dream Home is open to the public from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
Click here for a virtual tour of the Dream Home. Tickets to win the Dream Home cost $100 each and may be reserved by calling 1-800-224-6681 or by visiting www.stjudedreamhome.org. Lowes, Regions Bank, Samuels Furniture and Interiors, Crye-Leike Realtors, and The Avenue at Carriage Crossing are also ticket outlets.
MemphisConnect is a partnership between The Leadership Academy, MemphisED and Simple Focus. We provide a gathering place for diverse Memphians to share the opportunities, initiatives and activities that inspire them to make Memphis home.
MemphisConnect is always looking for people who are passionate about Memphis and want to help move our community forward. Get in touch if you have a story for us to share, of if you want to write for us!
